We are in Rafina, a coastal town in East Attica and a pivotal port.
The film opens with the opening credits, providing information about the footage, such as the date and location. In the foreground, we see the Holy Church of Panagia Pantovasilissa and cars of the era driving past the lens. Next, we see a street, the surrounding area and a bus. The lens lingers on the bus as a large number of people disembark and then focuses on a car crossing the street.
The recording continues with a panoramic shot showcasing the architectural layout of the period. The view changes to shots of the harbor, with a ship ready to depart and several boats that are moored. The filmmaker lingers briefly on the ship's smoking funnels and then shows us the coastal shoreline. We see a short shot of the rough sea from the beach and we get back to the ship while it is underway. Afterwards, the camera shows boats sailing amidst the waves out in the open sea.
The film closes with a group of men outside a pastry shop, small boats moored in the harbor, and the sign of the Red Cross.
