Description
We are in Skiathos, an island of Greece located in the Aegean Sea and part of the Sporades island group.
The film opens with two fishermen untangling their nets. The lens focuses on three smiling children and then on the bell tower of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary (Panagia Limnia). The camera lingers on a fisherman mending his nets, a souvenir kiosk, and the grave of Alexandros Papadiamantis. We see a panoramic view of the harbor and the town, followed by a sunset scene.
