Description
Hydra is is one of the Argo-Saronic Gulf Islands of Greece.

The settlement of Hydra is built on two low rocky hills, amphitheatrically around the port from where we see the following views.

The sea water reflects on the moored fishing boats and the other fishing vessels as two men work on one of them.

We see an old man on a donkey as horses, donkeys, and water taxis are the only means of transportation in Hydra, since by law, cars and motorcycles are not allowed.

A couple goes down into a narrow street of the island and we are at the port again, where passengers board on the ship, other people sit at the tables of a traditional coffee house and we have the chance to see a general view of the settlement, one more time.

A ship gets in the port and sailors and port workers are waiting at the mooring point. The filmmaker who is on the ship on which he departed, gives us one last general shot of the settlement and the port of Hydra.

As the ship leaves the port, at the left end of the island we see one of the two small castles (Bastions) with its cannons which protected Hydra from pirates, as well as a small lighthouse.
