Description
The film opens with views from the Rock of the Acropolis. We observe the walls of the Acropolis, the Parthenon with the Lycabettus as a background, the Propylaea, the Herodeion or the Odeon of Herodes Atticus on the hillside. Afterwards, the lens gives us panoramic views of the center of Athens. The shots are taken from the Hill of the Nymphs or Filopappou.

The lens continues the wandering on the cobbled streets of Pikionis (the architect who designed the area around the Acropolis in 1954 - 1958) giving us views and details from the Parthenon and the Propylaea. A short shot of a crowded open street market and back to the Propylaea where we see the movement of visitors at the entrance.

The cinematographer continues the wandering in the temple of Hephaestus or Theseion in the ancient Agora, watches the passers-by for a while and continues with views from the facade and stage of the Herodeion, the concave, the semicircular orchestra as we see the burial Philopappos Monument in the background.

The film closes with a view of the Acropolis and the movement of vehicles on Dionysiou Areopagitou street.
