Description
We’re driving on the Alexandra Bridge. It was made in 1901 of stainless steel and connects the cities of Ottawa, Ontario and Gatineau in Quebec.

Continuing on the route, we get views of the highway with the vehicles moving in both lanes until we meet the Niagara Falls.

The lens stands on that spectacular natural phenomenon. We watch the water as it falls down with a great force to meet the river again.

A tourist boat approaches the waterfall for a close contact experience of the water falling from 54 meters high.

Views at the raging waters, and zoom-in at the boat that is approaching the base of the waterfall.

Anyone who visits Eastern Canada will inevitably go to Niagara Falls. We are no exception. Niagara is probably the biggest single tourist attraction in the entire world, so we must expect a pretty good crowd. But it will be worth it.

So here we are at long last standing on the lip of these incredible falls and getting covered with a fine spray. If you feel so inclined, you know, you can hire a pair of Wellington boots and a large oilskin and go down a tunnel cut out of the rock behind the falls. You can also, if you really feel like getting soaked, stand on the deck of the “Maid of the Mist” as she heads up towards the base of the falls. But as for me I think I’ll stay up here and watch the sun’s last rays shining on the falling cascade of water.
