Description
We are in Kavala, a city in Macedonia, in Greece.

The film opens with a house in the forest and a road sign that welcomes us to Kavala.

The filmmaker gives us a panoramic shot that is recorded from a balcony with the whole city. We watch a woman who enjoys the view. We are moved to the port, the Passenger Port of Kavala "Apostolos Pavlos" as it is called, which is one of the largest Greek ports. We see people wandering around and several ferryboats that are pulled up.

With one more panoramic shot, we see the city’s building structure, which is built amphitheatrically at the foot of Mount Symvolo, with the fortress at the top standing out and several cars of that era parked.

There are a lot of people who walk alongside the port and we see the "TEXACO" sign of a gas station. We see fishing nets that are piled up and many fishing boats with the seagulls around. The camera follows the woman who gazes at the view, poses for the camera and shops for souvenirs and afterwards, the lens focuses on a man.

The film closes with a view of the harbor, with the moored boats and the houses in the background.

*The Fortress of Kavala is built at the top of the Panagia Peninsula, at the location "Acropolis". It was built in 1425 on the ruins of the Byzantine Acropolis of Christoupolis that had been destroyed in 1391.
