Description
We are in the largest of the Greek islands, Crete. The filmmaker wanders in the island by car. As the film opens, we see a parked Morris Oxford on the side of the Strovlon-Paleochora provincial road and a young man who gets out. The whole view is lighted up by the unique blue of the Mediterranean.

A panoramic shot leads us to the beach of Palaiochora and the settlement, the view of the Libyan Sea is wonderful. The filmmaker’s family walk in the area’s rocky places towards the beach as a white dog follows.

A man leads the way, reaches the shore first as the bell tower and the dome of the Church of the Annunciation stands out in the background.

A man is fishing with a scoop fishing net.

We see a close-up shot of the beach’s crystal clear waters, two handfuls of sand-gravel under the water, a woman dives and enjoys the calm sea, small waves crash on the shore, a man on the rocks puts bait on the hook and throws the fishing line to catch fish.

Next we have a shot from the small port of Palaiochora with the fishing boats and short views of two roads of the town.
