Description
Leicester Square is a square in the West End of London and is famous for housing several major theatres and a number of nationally significant cinemas for hundreds of years.

In the first view is the iconic ODEON cinema, with a giant poster on the front of the film "Nicholas and Alexandra", which had its world premiere at that cinema in 1971. Across the cinema is the back of the bust of Isaac Newton.

A panoramic view of the square, we see the building and the signs of a smaller cinema or theater and we stop at another historic movie theatre, known for its premieres, the Empire, but unfortunately we can't see which movie it plays.

We stand on a bright sign that says “Fanum house” and we end up at the Leicester Square Theater, which is currently playing the film “Carnal Knowledge”, written by Jules Feiffer and directed by Mike Nichols, starring Jack Nicholson, Ann-Margret, Arthur Garfunkel and Candice Bergen.

A woman walks, holding a newspaper.

Footage from a car as we leave the square, we are now on Brompton Street with the Harrods department store in the background.
