Description
The film begins with the departure of the filmmaker and his companion from Athens as they prepare their car. Then we follow the road as they head towards Ioannina.
Along the way we see a traffic warden on the side of the highway talking to the filmmaker's wife.
Arriving in Ioannina, the first stop is at the lake Pamvotida full of waves, in Mavili Square.
Then the couple continues their journey by car on the road to Metsovo.
We see panoramic distant views of Ioannina and the island of the lake from the area of Amfithea.
Then, shot a few days later, we have shots from the Castle of Ioannina, specifically from the northwestern acropolis with the Mosque of Aslan Pasha, the madrese (where the Municipal Museum of Ioannina is housed today) with a pile of cannon balls and a panoramic shot of the lake with the island.
Then, through the car, we see the City Hall building (former Zosimaia Library) as we head towards Pyrros Square through Averof Street.
The film closes with shots of the national road with the road signs, as we leave Ioannina heading to Athens.
