Description
Toledo is a city and municipality in Spain, capital of the Toledo province in the autonomous community of Castile–La Mancha.
Since 1986 it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and in the past (1085-1559), it was the capital of the Spanish Empire.

The film begins with shots of the Tagus River, and Toledo, situated on the right bank.

Panoramic views of the city follow, where we can see the fortress of Alcazar, which has been used as a fortress, castle and palace, and whose roots go back to the 3rd century AD. Today it is a military museum and the region’s library.

One can also see the cathedral, considered by some to be the most magnificent example of the Gothic style in Spain, and a truly stunning example of medieval architecture.
