Melness is a locality, comprising a group of small remote crofting townships, located in the Scottish Highlands.

In the film we see a small rocky shore, boats anchored around, we see a small sandy beach in between the rocks, a little further we see wildflowers and finally the filmmaker who walks out of the sea, carefully.

Creator's description

Further along the coast we come to a beautiful little bay and harbour near Melness, on the Kyle of Tongue. Let’s take a closer look at the rocks and the rockpools and the seeweed swaying back and forth in the gentle currents of water, and the little sandy beaches.
