Description
We are in Tympaki, a town in the Heraklion Regional Unit of Crete.

The film opens with various masquerades and a donkey dressed in streamers. We see quite a few people outside a building as well as a car with a boat behind it. The filmmaker with a panoramic view shows us the surrounding area with various groups, cars of that era as well as one more donkey. He stays on the people who are outside the building, to a man who talks with the masquerades and they all greet him as he then focuses on an elderly man who wears a traditional Cretan dress and his donkey.

Shots of people follow, with some dressed as masquerades and some others not, while behind them we see a road sign which informs us that 5 kilometers to the right is the village of Lagolio. The lens stops on the masquerades and on a man who has climbed into the car’s carriage, has taken the microphone and introduces them. People of all ages pass in front of the lens, as at the same time we hear the sound. The parade continues with floats and reenactments, with a float with the sign "GO FOR EEC" and the car in the foreground with the boat full of people standing out.

We see the carnival as well as the countless people who have gathered. The lens is standing on a balcony with the sign "TYMPAKI CULTURAL ASSOCIATION" and on a man speaking into a microphone. The footage of the countless people continues while we hear a man making various animal sounds through the microphone. A car arrives at the area and several men get out representing the prime minister and his ministers as we can hear and the men go up to the balcony, speak to the people who applaud them.

The film closes with the parade, various floats that we hear the presenter introduce them as well as a street with lot of traffic.
