Description
The filmmaker is on the cruise ship "Hermes" during a cruise-excursion organized by the Kasos Association (people originating from the Island of Kasos) in June 1988. The cruise followed the route Piraeus - Aegina - Poros - Hydra.
In the opening shots we watch a ceremony on deck, during which the speaker throws an honorary wreath into the sea and the crowd applauds him.
We are then transferred to the ship's lounge where the lens shows us the passengers as well as a music and dance performance with traditional dances of Kasos.
