Description
We are in Courchevel, a French Alps ski resort. It is a part of Les Trois Vallées, the largest linked ski areas in the world.

The film opens with a sign that reads in French "Win a stay in Courchevel" and continues with a shot from the calendar that informs us that it is Saturday, March 22, 1980. We see the ski resort, the air lifts, the cars in the parking lot, the building facilities as well as the snowy landscape. The resort has 11 luxury hotels, seven restaurants and a variety of luxury shops, including Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Valentino, Loro Piana, Prada, Cartier, Fendi, Dior and Chanel.

The lens focuses on a sign that says “La Fleche” and continues with the chalets as well as the incredible snow that has covered everything. We see shots from the snow that has formed layers and the cars from the parking lot. The filmmaker shows us his group of friends. A woman puts on her gloves, a man walks with his ski poles and a second woman smiles at the camera.

We see for a while the air lift and the snowy firs and we get back to the group of friends that has started skiing. A close-up shot on the sigh of the "La Sivoliere" Hotel and as the shot gets wider, we see the whole building as well as a panoramic view of the entire ski resort with cars in the parking lot, the air lifts that come and go, the route, the chalets as well as the crowd.
