Description
We are in Mithymna or Molyvos, a large traditional settlement of Lesvos, 62 km north-west of Mytilene, in Greece.

The film opens with footage from the castle of Mithymna. We see one of the three consecutive gates that give access to the castle, the exterior one that is at the southern end of the outer precinct and dates back to the Ottoman period based on the inscription and the pointed arch, the second entrance that is at a short distance and leads to an outdoor area which is protected by walls, and going up the cobbled path we come across at the third gate in a row, which is the castle’s main entrance and dates back to the 14th century.

The lens shows us the view of the port from the castle and then shots from castle’s interior walls. The filmmaker focuses on a child with a yellow jacket as well as on a woman with one more child who are a little further behind. The woman with the child walk on a cobbled path of the castle. A panoramic shot of the hill of the castle where the citadel of the ancient city was located, as the children play around.

The film closes with the woman and the children admiring the landscape.
