Description
We are in Heathrow Airport, London, July 26th, 1972.

The film starts with a few shots of the airplanes of the British airline BEA (British European Airways) with the British flag on the tail. The company operated a network of internal and international routes at the time.

In the following shots, the filmmaker has boarded the plane and we have a few shots of the flight attendants and other passengers. We can also see part of the flight attendants’ uniform that consists of a characteristic forage hat. The camera turns to the window, and we take one last look at the airport and the remaining lined up aircraft before taking off.

The filmmaker continues with shots outside the window, with the plains of England spreading underneath. The scenery changes and the airplane lands at the airport of Hannover in Langenhagen, 11km north of the city, Lower Saxony in Germany. The shots continue from the plane capturing the staff of the airport and a big crowd that’s waiting nearby.

The film ends with a last shot of a big sign that reads “Hannover” with white letters.
