Description
We are in Metsovo, a mountainous town in the prefecture of Ioannina at an altitude of 1,160m. It is a traditional settlement, among the mountains of the largest mountain range in Greece, Pindos.

The film opens with a traditional wedding procession. We see people of all ages, from young children to the elderly. At the beginning of the procession, young girls hold or carry on their backs the trousseau (usually consisting of rugs, blankets, pillowcases, handkerchiefs, socks, dresses and all kinds of clothing). People follow the parade holding clothes and behind them are the musicians.

The procession continues with little boys who hold a lamb, the bridal decoration follows as well as the guests and at the end of the parade is the music band who, as we can see, is consisted of a “daouli” (a large double-headed drum) player, a clarinettist, a guitarist and a violinist. The filmmaker records the course of the parade and shows us the people who stand and watch. Afterwards, we see the bridal torches and the people who follow. We notice that a lot of the women are dressed in the traditional costume.

The view changes and the camera shows us the people who have gathered on the balcony of the entrance of a house and a man who offers a drink from one blue jug to another one. The bride comes out wearing the traditional bridal costume and a white veil on her head.

The film closes with the lens following and focusing on the bride who is accompanied by two men as they hold her by the arms while briefly a smiling man steals the filmmaker's attention.
