Description
We are in the prefecture of Chania on the largest and most populous of the Greek islands, Crete.

The filmmaker is in a moving car and gives us footage of the route between the villages of Chania and the short views of the daily life of the inhabitants: grazing, product transportation by tractors and trucks, a bus of that era as well as the mountains that are around the area.

As we pass through roads with lush vegetation, bridges and a few villagers, we reach a road sign which shows us that we are 8 km away from Topolia, our village of destination.

A natural water spring on our way. A sign, that we have arrived in Topolia, is the sky-high bell tower, one of the tallest in the Balkans, of the three-aisled church dedicated to the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, the Archangel Michael and St. George.

A car is parked outside a house, the host comes out to greet the guest, an old woman eats something that she holds in her hand, a kitten, two men cut roses from a blooming rose tree.
