Description
We are in Syntagma Square, the central square of Athens. The Old Royal Palace neoclassical building, housing the Greek Parliament is immediately across Amalias Avenue.

In the courtyard in front of the Parliament, the filmmaker records his son who plays with the pigeons which are by hundreds at this point in order to be fed by the visitors with seeds, bought from the peddlers, or with bun crumbs. This is what the little one does with his mother and in the next shot with his father.

In front of the Parliament stands the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a cenotaph in honor of the Greek soldiers killed during war and is guarded on a 24-hour basis with two soldiers who pay their respects and take their places in their outposts.
