Description
Volos is the capital of the prefecture of Magnesia, in Thessaly in Greece.

We are on Kassaveti Street in the city where scouts from all corps have gathered to take part in a parade, as it is March 25, a national holiday for Greece.

As we see, after a report to the superior, the scouts line up in their organizations as the team leaders watch and correct the alignment. The parade begins with the bearer of the Greek flag and the attendants.

On the coastal road of Volos, four girls in traditional folk costumes carry the Greek flag, holding it by its edges.

Then the “evzones” (members of the Presidential Guard, a ceremonial unit that guards the Greek Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Presidential Mansion in Athens) follow, each one holding a flag.

We see more young people in traditional costumes and the film closes with a unit of scouts reaching the Heroon of Volos.
