Description
The lens wanders in the gardens outside Buckingham Palace and gives us panoramic views of the imposing building. The flag doesn’t fly on the mast, signaling that the royal family is not in the residence.

The lens continues its tour of the façade of the palace, passing Constitution Hill to show us the sculptural decoration that surrounds the palace and the Victoria Memorial monument of the sculptor sir Thomas Brock. The filmmaker continues with details of the monument and we see the statue of the enthroned Queen Victoria, with Justice (facing north-west) and Truth (facing south-east) and at the top of the central pylon stand two eagles with wings spread representing the Empire, personifications of Constancy and Courage and the gilded bronze Winged Victory standing on a globe.

The camera follows the crowd of visitors to the palace, we see shots from Mall Avenue and the film closes with the change of the Horse Guards.
