Asimakopoulos Nikos

Nikos Char. Asimakopoulos, with family roots from Langadia, Gortynia, was born in Alpochori, Pyrgos, Ilia, on 26-10-1949. He is a graduate of the Department of Political Science of Panteion University and an avid Historian. He is the founder of the publishing house "Vergina" since 1977.

He has published tutorial books for all classes of middle school-high school, Algebra, Geometry, Physics, which was edited by the Academician and professor of NTUA Konstantinos Papaioannou and Analyzes of literary texts and Exhibitions. Also he has published tutoring aids for Mathematics, Reports and Grammar for all grades of Primary School. Since 1995 he has edited and published historical books on Antiquity, the rise and fall of the Byzantine Empire as well as all the memoirs of the fighters of 1821. He also edits and publishes literary books covering all types of prose and poetry.

He has written the historical research work "The contribution of the Souliotes to the Revolution of 1821", which is based on existing sources and the historical novel entitled: "Victorious Gladiator". The first will be issued in December 2020 and the second in March 2021.
